We have all been through a lot over the last year, as individuals and as a community. Instead of a Good Friday service, Sparta UMC and Hope Fellowship are hosting a special time of prayer this year on Good Friday, April 2nd on the walking track at Sparta UMC. Come as it is convenient for you between 10am-12pm to take some time to pray for the things that are weighing heavy on your heart for yourself and the world around you.
We believe that prayer can take multiple forms and that each of us can connect with God in many different ways. If you come between 10am-12pm one of our pastors will give you a paper with several artistic images, written prayers, thoughtful questions, and journaling prompts. You will also find several prayer guides on the walls. You can walk the track while you pray, find a space for quiet meditation, or talk and pray with one of our pastors. This is a simple and loosely organized event that is creating space for you to talk with God in a way that is meaningful to you.
Please wear a mask.
